From the Commodore <br /> <br />Dear Members,<br />Some years ago, the club hired a professional photography company to come and take portraits of as many members who desired to participate. One of the deliverables from that project was a very nice “picture book”. I think all of us have used our own copies to help associate a face with a name or a name with a face of someone we have met at the club.<br />In the intervening time since that book was published, we have had a very large turnover in our membership and the current book is woefully out of date.<br />To remedy this situation, the BOG decided at the June 4, 2022, meeting to proceed with a project to take photos of the members and upload them into the membership section of our website. No costs will be incurred by the club or the individual members for this project.<br />Club members Priscilla and David Harrell have volunteered to take the pictures and our webmaster, Jerry Budnick, will upload them into the webpage. Pictures will be taken during the following events:<br />• June Taco night (4:30 pm – 6:00 pm)<br />• July 4th picnic,<br />• Labor Day picnic and <br />• October Taco night. <br />We will send reminders as these events get near, but mark your calendars and “To Do” lists so we don’t miss having you on our webpage.<br />This is a great way for longer term members to get to know newer members and vice versa.
